As a micropractice, Dr. Krempowich's patients have access to some unique resources which can all be found here!
I enjoy connecting with with people with as few barriers as possible. By operating a micro- practice I can spend more time getting to know you and what's important to your individual situation. I thrive on running an efficient practice with good access, continuity of care and satisfaction of both patient and doctor. This will mean some changes in process, but all to the goal of prioritizing direct patient-physician communication, thereby strengthening our relationship and improving your access to care.
The micro-practice model has patients collaborating with their physician and actively providing their input by engaging in self-service using the technological tools made available to them. There is now a “virtual front desk”, which directly contacts the doctor and a kiosk for you to check in when you arrive. This means I will continue to rely heavily on technology such as online booking and electronic communication through OCEAN. I thank you for continuing to use these services.
I use a 'virtual front desk' which means there is not someone answering the phone (sometimes I will if I am free!). Any phone calls will go directly to my line. Most of a typical work day I will be participating in front line care with patients, and will not be able to answer directly, and will ask you to leave a voicemail for me to return your call if required. The best way to contact me will be through secure messaging, or alternatively by email at drkrempowich@gmail.com for issues that are not medical or sensitive in nature, as email is inherently not a secure method of communication.
Medical issues must be addressed with an in-person appointment.
Office hours are approximately 9:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and phone, email and secure messaging will be monitored at variable intervals during this time. These hours do not reflect in-clinic appointment times.
Yes, Ana is still at the front desk, as she continues to be employed by Dr. Abawi. Her attention is reserved for patients of Dr. Abawi.
When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please proceed to the Check In Kiosk.
Use your health card to check in for your appointment.
A series of forms will follow, including review of your address, email and phone number - make sure this information is up to date!
If you have any issues with the kiosk, check the list of tips I posted above the kiosk. If this is still not helpful, just have a seat and I will come to get you at your scheduled appointment time or shortly after.

Please bring your VALID health card with you to every appointment. You require it to check in at the front kiosk.
